Good home, needs some maintenance

Overall, we had a great time. Private heated pool was great, but there were some maintenance issues not promptly addressed. The good: Large space for our family of four. Well stocked kitchen. Heated pool a big plus. Staff all very friendly. Property tram very prompt when called. Free DVD rentals from fitness center kiosk was nice. Some beach toys, chairs, etc in garage. Paper towels, toilet paper, dish towels, and dish soap were provided (but bring extra trash bags as they only provide one large kitchen bag). The bad: The house was not ready at 4:00 as promised (ready at 4:45). The dishwasher was broken the entire time. I got a text from vacasa the morning after check in (Sunday)asking if there was anything I needed to report. I replied immediately that the dishwasher was broken, a patio door was broken, and the hall closet doors were unhinged. Never got a reply back. The next morning (Monday), I called the front desk and reported the dishwasher to the front desk and they assured me they would get someone out promptly. They were apparently very busy, as I called again Tuesday afternoon, and they said I was on the list. On Friday morning, the pool heat wasn't working. I called the front desk once again, and also reminded them about the dishwasher. This time, maintenance staff came out right away and fixed the pool heat, but they were unable to fix the dishwasher. So, I spent all week handwashing lots of dishes since we didn't feel comfortable going out due to covid. Also discovered that the jacuzzi jets in the master did not work. Living room furniture should be replaced as it is worn and stained. Lots of board games and books provided, but we found all the games to be missing pieces. I planned to use the fitness trail on the provided map they gave us at check in, only to discover that the trail isn't complete, and there's a section on the map that actually has no trail. Just lots of little maintenance issues that will make me think twice about renting here again.

Awesome location and awesome home. Pool are a lil cool for us but we used it when shaded. Nice to have private pool. Only down fall was no bbq pit but not deal breaker.
