Bare minimum condo. Will try Tops'l again but not at the Summit.

Great location, paper thin walls
Loved the location of this condo. Overlooking the pool and close to the main elevators. 5 minute walk to the beach, where there is another pool/bar that you can use. Nice boardwalk and private beach. Room and furniture could use some updates, but not horrible. The one big negative is that it is connected to unit 209 with a very thin door and the walls must be thin too because we could hear the neighbor’s conversations like they were in the room with us. Wouldn’t have been bad, but this family was super loud around midnight. Kids screaming and adults yelling/talking really loud. We called what I think was the security desk, but I don’t think they did anything or came up. Room would work great if you rent 209 and 209A together.

Perfect for couples!
This room was the perfect size for me and my husband. We didn't want to worry with a full-size kitchen, so the little kitchenette setup was perfect. We did buy some groceries to feed us for breakfast and lunch, and then we went out for dinner. Everything we needed was onsite or a short drive away. The room was close to all kinds of stores and restaurants and was only a short walk to the beach, which was very clean and just gorgeous! The pools on the property were clean as well. There were all kinds of nearby attractions for golf, tennis, nature walks, and sea adventures. We spent must of our time on the beach and swimming in the pool by our room, so I cannot comment on the property's other amenities. The security guards on site were very kind and helpful, who were the only personnel we encountered during our stay, aside from the gentleman at guest registration, who was also nice and helpful. We enjoyed a sunset cruise at AJ's in Destin, which was just a short drive away, and it was very fun! Our room was stocked with plenty of clean towels, and I thought the room was very cozy. I'm giving this place 5 stars because of how much I enjoyed it; however, my husband felt the mattress was a little too firm (I was wore out from the beach every night, so I slept like a log!), and there was some renovation going on in the room above ours that was pretty loud. The noise started around 9 and went until about 5 for about 2 days straight, but we were usually on the beach or in the pool from 10 until early evening when we would return to get ready for dinner. It did not really bother me though since we were gone from our room for most of it. We loved staying here, have told all our friends and family about our wonderful experience, and we hope to come back again! It was my favorite beach experience to date, and I am missing the white sand and emerald waters already!
