Fantastic Family Holiday

Accommodations are excellent. We had a fantastic holiday filled with fun, family and relaxation. We took the quick walk to the beach every day to enjoy the beautiful sunset and sand. The beach chairs, wagon, and everything else you needed for a great beach day are all provided in this unit. The living area was cozy and we loved that there were plenty of games and puzzles to keep the family entertained. Kitchen had everything we needed to make Christmas dinner and daily breakfast. The beds were comfy and firm with quality bed linens. We had so much fun playing pickleball, tennis, and mini golf. Easy access to the 30A beach towns made for excellent outings. We will defiantly book this rental again.

Nice place but no cable and rotten egg water

This really is a nice unit so no issues there. You can consider it and they will probably pay/fix the cable issue. The water problem is more daunting. Maybe it's just Florida but there was an intense and pungent sulpher/rotten egg small to the water in the bathroom. So there was no point in showing there. Even using the sink to brush your teeth was awful. Luckily there is a shower at the club facility which we used instead. I think this is fixable with a whole unit water filter with charcoal activation or something. Avoid until that's added.

Beautiful, Cozy Unit

The unit itself is cozy, comfortable, well-appointed and equipped with everything needed for a long or short stay. It was clean, and all 3 beds were super comfortable. The sectional sofa in the den is comfortable and roomy enough for our family of 4 to all lounge together and watch the very large screen tv. Kudos to the unit owner for all of these wonderful comforts of home away from home! The resort property is well-maintained and neat and has some nice amenities like tennis courts, pickle ball courts, mini-golf, racket ball and workout facilities. However, there were some drawbacks. Vacasa does not sufficiently stock the unit with trash bags, dishwasher detergent pods, or paper towels for more than a 2 or 3 day stay. We were provided 2 trash bags for the kitchen trash can, 2 small trash bags for the bathroom trash cans, 2 dishwasher pods, one roll of flimsy paper towels, one kitchen towel, and one travel size dishwashing detergent for a 5 night and 5 day stay. At the end of our 2nd day, we went to guest services to request additional trash bags and dishwasher detergent pods and were told they would not be providing additional supplies, so if we needed more, we would have to go buy them. So, if you come here, plan ahead and bring extra trash bags, paper towels, and dishwasher detergent pods from home so that you can empty your trash daily, have paper towels to dry your hands in the kitchen, and can run the dishwasher at least every other day AND when you leave. Or, you can hand-wash most of your dishes on your vacation, like we did, because you don't have enough dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher. The walk to the beach was a bit longer than we expected. Tops'l provides a "tram" service for rides to/from the beach, which is actually a large golf cart. You have to call to request a ride to/from the unit and beach. Beach chairs are NOT provided by the resort. Chairs and umbrellas can be rented from a beach service, but the cost is expensive. If you take your own chairs and umbrella (which we did), there are limited places on the beach where personal chairs and umbrellas are allowed to be set up, because the beach service chairs and umbrellas take up most of the beach front in front of the Tops'l property, and personal chairs and umbrellas are not allowed in that area. After making the walk to the beach, we then had to make a long walk across the sand to the designated area for personal chairs and umbrellas. So, depending on what you like, want, need and are or aren't willing to do for your vacation, this may or may not be the best place for you. I can't say enough good things about the unit itself; it's the inconveniences of the resort that will keep us from returning.
