Casa Cardillo

Step through the door and feel the tension leave your shoulders — this is the Palm Springs you came for. THE LIVING SPACES The open-concept living area invites lingering. Sink into the sofa beneath those signature beamed ceilings while morning light floods the room through oversized windows. The layout flows naturally — living room to dining to kitchen — so conversation never stops whether you're mixing cocktails or plating appetizers. Those floor-to-ceiling sliding doors blur the line between inside and out, letting the mountain views become part of every moment. THE KITCHEN This isn't a vacation kitchen where you struggle to find a spatula. You'll find quality cookware, a full set of dishes and silverware, a dishwasher for easy cleanup, a blender for your morning smoothies or evening margaritas, and a coffee maker ready for that first sacred cup. Baking sheets, cooking utensils, everything you need to create meals worth remembering — or simply to prep snacks before another afternoon by the pool. THE BEDROOMS Three bedrooms. Six guests. Everyone sleeps well here. The primary suite feels like your own private wing — a king bed positioned to catch the desert light, with easy access to step outside and greet the morning in your pajamas. Two additional bedrooms each feature queen beds, giving couples their own retreat or families room to spread out. Fresh bed linens on every mattress. Ceiling fans for those who love sleeping with a gentle breeze. Air conditioning for those August afternoons when the desert earns its reputation. THE BACKYARD This is where Palm Springs happens. Your private pool catches the California sun while the San Jacinto Mountains rise dramatically behind it — the kind of backdrop that makes every photo look professionally staged. Stretch out on the patio loungers with a book you've been meaning to finish. Fire up the BBQ grill and cook dinner while the sky turns pink and orange. Pull up chairs around the outdoor dining space and stay outside until the stars appear. The desert views here aren't a marketing phrase — they're the reason you'll extend your stay. WHAT MAKES THIS STAY DIFFERENT Casa Cardillo delivers the authentic Palm Springs experience — not a watered-down hotel version. You're waking up in a real mid-century home, in a real neighborhood, with a real pool that's yours alone. No fighting for lounge chairs. No strangers in the hot tub. No elevator small talk. Board games fill the evenings when you want them. Premium toiletries — body soap, conditioner, the details that matter — mean packing light. Enhanced cleaning practices and carbon monoxide detectors mean peace of mind. This is your home in the desert. Treat it that way. A washer and dryer mean you can pack half as much. Pool & Spa Heating (Optional Add-On) Pool/spa heat is available for $100/night. Recommended October–May. Please request at least 72 hours in advance (heating may take up to 48 hours to reach ~86°F). Per City of Palm Springs requirements, we will leave the necessary guest forms at the property for completion upon arrival. All adult guests (18 years and older) are required to review and acknowledge the Palm Springs Good Neighbor Brochure. We kindly ask that the completed forms be signed and returned to our office to remain in compliance with local vacation rental regulations. The primary guest is also required to provide information for all vehicles associated with the reservation. Little Tuscany is where Palm Springs locals wish they lived. Quiet streets wind past architectural gems from the 1950s and 60s. The mountain backdrop feels almost theatrical in its drama. Yet you're just minutes from downtown Palm Springs — the restaurants on Palm Canyon Drive, the vintage shops, the galleries, the Thursday night VillageFest street fair. Casa Cardillo's prized location keeps you close to the heart of Palm Springs, with renowned golf courses, eclectic shops, and gourmet dining just a short drive away. Whether you're here for relaxation or adventure, the convenience and charm of this area are unmatched. Golf courses dot the surrounding valley. Joshua Tree National Park is an easy day trip. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway lifts you from desert floor to mountain peak in ten minutes. But honestly? Most guests discover they never want to leave the backyard.
